excellent location directly west of the Texas Medical Center (the world's largest) and
directly south of Rice University. Many original bungalows and two-story properties remain
in this neighborhood where tear-downs are not as common as in neighboring West U. Close to

BRAESWOOD features pre-war, two-story properties on large lots as well as
smaller bungalows. Renovations are more common than teardowns in this neighborhood that
